CAMMIC 2026

On March 28, 2026, the 2026 International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Modeling and Intelligent Computing (CAMMIC 2026) was successfully held in Shanghai, China.Hosted by Shanghai University and organized by the College of Sciences of Shanghai University, the conference was co-organized by Soochow University, Zhengzhou University, University of Macau, and AEIC Academic Exchange Center. The event brought together distinguished experts and scholars from both domestic and international communities in applied mathematics, modeling, and intelligent computing, fostering in-depth discussions on cutting-edge advances and innovative achievements in these interrelated fields.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Peicheng Zhu from the College of Sciences, Shanghai University. Professor Ye Dai, Associate Dean of the College, delivered the opening address, extending a warm welcome to all guests and participating scholars and expressing sincere gratitude to the experts who have long supported the conference.

The conference featured a series of keynote speeches delivered by several renowned scholars, including Professor Junchi Yan from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Weihua Xu from Southwest University, Professor Minrui Fei from Shanghai University, Professor Yuehong Qian from Soochow University, and Professor Pierluigi Cesana from Kyushu University (Japan). The topics covered a wide spectrum of frontier research, including machine learning methods for combinatorial optimization, conceptual cognitive learning and intelligent computing in the context of big data, spatiotemporal evolution of discontinuous defects in Volterra-type systems, digital twin and virtual manufacturing applications and prospects, and Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) computations for Navier–Stokes dynamics.

Held in a hybrid format combining on-site and online participation, the conference attracted numerous experts, scholars, and graduate students from universities and research institutions worldwide. Multiple interactive sessions were arranged, including oral presentations and poster displays. A total of 64 oral presentations and 47 academic posters were delivered, providing a vibrant platform for young researchers to showcase their latest findings and fully demonstrating the innovative vitality and developmental potential of applied mathematics, modeling, and intelligent computing.

To encourage academic innovation and exchange, the conference selected 3 outstanding papers, 6 outstanding oral presentations, and 3 outstanding posters, recognizing the exceptional research achievements and scholarly capabilities demonstrated in respective areas.
